Unbelievable Picture Of Marine And Wife

I usually write about car wrecks and other legal matters in this blog.

But, I saw this picture and had to write about it.

You probably know my Daddy is retired from the Air Force.

That’s how I was born at Keesler Air Force Base.

My Step-Dad is retired from the Navy.

He was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed.

So I’m a big fan of the traditions of the military.

This picture is Katherine Cathey sleeping next to her husband’s casket.

He was killed in the Iraq War. 

Ms. Cathey was asked by the Marines if she wanted them to continue to stand watch and she said, “I think that’s what he would have wanted.”

Next time you see a military member, remember this photograph and thank them for their service.
