You know, I was asked recently if I supported the insurance company agenda of limiting what a jury could award for injuries for someone violating safety rules and causing a wreck or a doctor violating the safety rules and causing a permanent injury.

My answers was an empatic “No!”

Before I talk about this idiot doctor, I’ll give you a couple of reasons.

Why is it that we are smart enough to decide in Mississippi if someone should be killed for committing a crime but we’re too stupid to decide how much money someone should get for violating a safety rule?

Does that really make sense?

I mean, are you really too stupid to decide how much money someone should get but you’re smart enough to decide if someone should die for committing a crime?

The idea is simply silly.

So, if you’re reading this and you decided that jurors shouldn’t be able to decide how much someone gets, let me tell you this story.

A Missouri couple goes to the hospital and the baby gets stuck in the birth canal.

So, the genius doctor decides to use traction and in doing this, rips the baby’s head off!!

So, in a disgusting attempt to cover up what I believe to actually be a crime, the doctor tries to stuff the baby’s head back into the mother.

And this is after blood has already squirted all over the delivery room because the doctor popped the head off the baby.

Genius doctor then decides to do an emergency Caesarian section.

And he does the C-section before mom is completed sedated.

Now, I ask you, would you support limits on what a jury could award after these complete and total violations of saftey rules?
