Sierra Jones Car Wreck

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the Sierra Jones car wreck.

Brent Barfield of the Mississippi Highway Patrol said Ms. Jones was north on Highway 49 when the wreck happened.

She went off the highway and into some trees.

She was thrown out of the car.

Sierra Jones was not wearing a seat belt.

She lived in Ocean Springs.

I imagine that her parents were hoping that was four words that they would never hear.

I don’t know what to say.

This is a horrible time for the family and friend of Ms. Jones.

I don’t have a kid that is driving yet.

As a parent, we all worry when that day comes.

The fear that you are going to get that call in the middle of the night that something bad has happened.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Sierra Jones.
