Alan Turk Killed In Gulfport Car Wreck
Alan Turk Killed In Gulfport Car Wreck
Alan Turk was killed in a Gulfport Mississippi Car Wreck.
He was riding a motorcyle.
A Dodge Truck crossed Highway 49 and smashed into him.
Unfortunately, Turk was riding a motorcycle.
Alan Turk Killed In Gulfport Car Wreck
Unfortunately, Alan Turk was on that motorcycle.
And in a wreck with a truck, motorcycles will lose every time.
I don’t like motorcycles for this exact reason.
Heck, Alan Turk was doing everything right.
He was wearing a helmet.
He was on the correct side of the road.
He was doing nothing wrong.
But, he’s still dead.
I hate it for him and his family.
What an awful tragedy.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of all involved.
My Car Wreck Mission For You And Alan Turk
While I know I can’t get people off motorcycles, at least I can try and get you to wear your seat belt.
You know we’ve got a real problem here in Mississippi with getting people to wear their seat belt.
And it is one of my missions to try and get you to wear your seat belt.
Seat belts really do save lives.
And it just might be your life that I save.
If I can convince one person reading this blog to commit to that, I think I’ve accomplished a heck of a lot.
So, I’m doing something CRAZY!!!
If you take the Mississippi Seat Belt Pledge, I’m going to give you my book for FREE!!!!

I just wanted to thank you for writing this column. Alan was my cousin, but we were more like brother and sister. I live in Cleveland, Ohio where he was born and raised. I always came to Gulfport to visit him at least twice a year. we did eveything together. He was like my best friend. It felt like I lost a piece of my heart when he died. I lost a couple of my friends that were in motorcycle accidents and he knew how I felt about them. I will miss him tremendously!
Ms. Dubose,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t even know what to say.
What a terrible tragedy for you and Mr. Turk’s family and friends.
My condolences to you.
I heard he was exhonerated and the DNA found on the airbag belonged to the girl that ran to clarksburg, wv. Why isn’t anybody looking for the real killer in this tragedy? She let an innocent man go to prison and she is getting away with murder.
Anonymous,
I’m not sure you have the correct wreck.
