Carissa McCary Drunk Driving Wreck
Carissa McCary Drunk Driving Wreck
According to authorities, Carissa McCary was driving drunk when she killed a 4 year old boy.
The wreck happened way back on November 28, 2012.
In case you are wondering, one of the reasons it takes forever to get to Court because of the HUGE number of cases that are in Court.
There are other reasons but that is the main one. And I’m not trying to make excuses for the system. I get very frustrated with the slow pace also. It is aggravating as heck.
The crash killed Darren Gaspard.
Carissa McCary Drunk Driving Crash
As I understand it, McCary was on Mississippi 614 driving westbound when she crossed the center line.
After crossing the center line, McCary smashed into a truck driven by Darren Gaspard, Sr.
Although Darren Gaspard, Jr., was in a child seat, the injuries were so bad he still died.
The criminal case against Carissa McCary is now set to go to trial in August in Jackson County.

Mr Lawson.
This is Carissa McCary. You have slandered my name on the internet.
The article you wrote says that I was drunk and driving. I and my
attorneys , have my lab report from my blood that clearly states that
I had 0.000 B.A.L. That means that I had “ZERO” alcohol in my
system. I do not drink and I was not intoxicated. Please apologize publicly
on the internet and to me personally for printing lies about me which have
hurt me mentally, emotionally and physically. This accident was a tragic
accident. I am permanently disabled from it but I WAS NOT INTOXICATED.
Hi Ms. McCary,
I hope you are going to be okay. I frequently comment on wrecks that happen in Mississippi and all over the country. According to an internet search of your name, the police arrested you on drunk driving, among other charges. We certainly hope you were not drinking and driving but we merely report on the news and the facts as reported by the authorities, as thousands of other websites do.
