Gulfport Mississippi Car Wreck Kills 2

Genevieve Mayhew and Jarred Lewis died in a Gulfport, Mississippi Car Wreck.  According to authorities, Mayhew hit the rear of another car.  This caused her to lose control and she went into the other lanes and caused this Mississippi Car Accident.  A GMC Yukon then smashed into her truck.  The impact killed both Mayhew and Lewis.  This accident was on Cowan-Lorraine Road in Gulfport.  A photo of the cars involved in this wreck is below.

This is a horrible tragedy for the family and friends of all involved.

I don’t know that seat belts would have saved anyone in this accident.  But, in most accidents seat belts will save your life.  You know we have a terrible problem with getting people in Mississippi to wear their seat belts.  I’m on a MISSION to make sure we get 100% of Mississippians wearing their seat belts.
