Trusting Workers Comp Lawyers?  Give Me A Break!

If you are here, it is probably because you don’t trust lawyers.   Guess what?  I don’t trust them either!

 

Gulfport Worker’s Comp Lawyer

I just had a supposedly prominent lawyer lie to me right in Court.  We were there for a hearing on a Gulfport Workers Comp Accident.  This is a lawyer you would know and I bet you might probably respect.

In fact, I have know this lawyer as long as I have been practicing law.   I considered us friends.  I can assure you that I don’t anymore.

I was truly disgusted with this lawyer.  The lying got me upset.  And I told him that if he was going to say that then I was going to call him a liar right in Court in front of a courtroom of other lawyers.

He went ahead and continued with the lie.  I called him a liar.  What would you do?  This is a good friend of your lying right in Court and he doesn’t care.

Was I supposed to tuck my tail between my legs and just let it go?

I told this supposedly upstanding lawyer that I had no problem stepping outside with him.  Because the truth is I wanted to break both his arms.

I was totally disgusted by the behavior.  I’ll talk more about what happened in a future blog.

I realize I may have lost my cool but what would you have done?
