A Pearl River County car wreck killed Javier Fregoso. According to authorities, it was a head on Mississippi car wreck that caused his death. The accident also injured two other people who were airlifted to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
According to authorities, one man died and two other people are in the hospital.
I believe the two other people are at Forrest General Hospital because I think they were airlifted there.

The wreck was on Highway 43 and it was south of the Highway 26 intersection.
The coroner, Derek Turnage, indicated that Javier Fregoso was killed in the wreck.

What a horrible, terrible wreck for everyone.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of everyone involved.
I don’t know the circumstances of this wreck.
I don’t know if any safety rules were violated.
It is my experience that someone violated safety rules when a wreck happens.
Regardless, one of my missions is to get everyone and I mean EVERYONE in Mississippi wearing their seat belts.
We have a real problem in Pearl River County car wreck with people wearing their seat belts.
Seat belts save lives. It might not have been the situation in this wreck (I don’t know because authorities haven’t said either way) BUT I do know that seat belts save lives so take a minute to buckle up.

I’m so sorry this happened. My condolences to you and your family and friends. What a horrible time for you.
I certainly didn’t mean to offend anyone and I’m not trying to get anyone to buy anything because the book is free.
I’m just trying to get people in Mississippi to use their seat belt.
We’ve got a real problem here in Mississippi with people doing this and it is causing a lot of unnecessary injuries and even deaths.
If I can prevent just one of those deaths by getting someone to use their seat belt, then I feel that I might have accomplished something.
I’ve gotten several people to take the pledge already and I’m hoping to get more to do so.
And I’m not selling anything at all, there’s a lot of websites with Mr. Fregoso’s name on them selling their products.

I just want people to wear their seat belt.
I don’t know how else to try and get people to do that than by asking them to take the Mississippi Seat Belt Pledge.
