Highway 49 Gulfport Mississippi Car Wreck

According to authorities, a car wreck in Gulfport, Mississippi, caused the death of at least one person.  Sammie Turan was a passenger in a Cadillac that turned East onto North Swan Road in Gulfport.  A Nissan Altima crashed into the side of the Cadillac that Turan was riding in and killed her.

While Turan was wearing her seat belt, it still did not prevent her death.
