Man Sues Rescuers

Lawyers wonder why we are hated.

I don’t wonder.

Do you want to know why?

The man sues rescuers and expects a big check.

So I don’t wonder why lawyers are hated.  They are hated because of baloney like this.

Genius man decides to go through flood waters in his car.

The flood waters wash him and the car off the road.

He’s underwater in his car.

He’s about to die.

He’s literally breathing with an air pocket near the roof of the car.

Rescuers pull him out of the car so he doesn’t die.

Man Sues Rescuers – Wants a Check

Now, the man sues rescuers and wants a check from them.

His name is Roy Ortiz.

His lawyer’s name is Ed Ferszt.

What kind of man sues rescuers and thinks he can win?

As I see it though, the problem isn’t Roy as much as it is Ed Ferszt.

What lawyer in his right mind files a lawsuit against the people who rescue his client from death?

I mean Roy can’t file this thing by himself.

He needs a lawyer to do that.

This has to be one of the stupidest lawsuits I’ve ever seen in my entire legal career.

And lawyers wonder why we are hated.

As I always say, I don’t wonder.

I don’t wonder at all.

And by the way, Roy and Ed, if you read this, I hope the Court sanctions you and fines you a bunch of money when this baloney gets dismissed.
