Car Wreck In Moselle

A horrific car accident in Moselle, Mississippi caused the death of Joanna Milam, Bruce Myrick, Tommy Myrick, Haley Sumrall, and Timothy Milam.  According to authorities Joanna Milam tried to pass a car on Highway 11 just South of Moselle when she hit the car.  This caused her to swerve and go off the road and hit a power pole.

Also, according to authorities, no one in Milam’s car was wearing a seat belt and all of them were thrown from the Suburban she was driving.

I cannot imagine the awful feelings that the family and friends are feeling.  I have four kids and I would be completely devastated if this happened.  My condolences to the family and friends of everyone involved in this horrible tragedy.

This brings to mind a few things.  First, whatever you do, please wear your seat belt.  I don’t know if this would have saved anyone given the complete destruction of this car but it might have.  Also, I hate Suburban vehicles.  The reason I don’t like them is that they are prone to flipping.  They are too top heavy and can get out of control quickly.
