I know I usually write about car wrecks and trucking accidents on this blog but, as many of you know, I am a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan.
After Hurricane Katrina destroyed my house and I lost my car, clothes, and other personal items, my family and I were devastated. I cannot describe how the Saints season helped uplift us when they returned to New Orleans. The 2006 football season was special and I will never forget it.
Now, however, after that win against Miami this past Sunday, this team is really impressive. I will not write what I really think as I could only jinx it. But, my family and I are having one great time following the Saints this year.

New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Tailgate

I know we usually write about car wrecks, trucking accidents, worker’s compensation accident, and other types of injuries on this blog. However, my New Orleans Saints have finally made it to the promised land. As many of you know, I am a huge New Orleans Saints Fan.
We are planning a Who Dat Invastion of Miami. We are going to tailgate starting at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday until 3:00 p.m. (so for those of us that have tickets can get to the Super Bowl on time). We have to tailgate in a banquet room because the NFL will not let us tailgate in the parking lot. We are hiring a brass band to “Second Line” to the stadium with us. We will have every New Orleans Saints Song you can imagine playing during the tailgate. We will have a television playing the games from this year so you can relive the excitement of the season. We are ordering King Cake’s from Haydels which we will eat until we run out.
If you attended the tailgate we put on in Chicago in 2006 for the NFC Championship Game, you know how much fun it was. This one will be better!

New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Tailgate

The New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Tailgate in Miami, Florida is taking shape. We now have a place right by the Stadium. This will enable us to just walk to the stadium instead of worrying about getting buses or vans to take us there. I will post more information on the location and telephone number for the place as soon as we sign the contract for it.
Do not forget, we are having a live brass band Second Line with us to the stadium. You do not need tickets to the game to come to the tailgate or Second Line with us. Cost is $21.00 if you paypal it to [email protected] Just go to www.paypal.com and use that email address to paypal the money. If you want to mail it, the cost is $20.00 (paypal charges a fee for using it) mail it to the office right now as we must have it quickly as we must pay in full 5 days before the Super Bowl.
